What is Macaulayism and what are its objectives?

Through Macaulayist education, when cultural history was distorted, the British Empire had several underlying objectives.

1. To destroy pride in one’s heritage.

2. To inject a sense of inferiority.

3. Guilt-trading – To instill a mindset of slavery through a sense of guilt.

4. To raise a generation that views the British as their saviors.

5. Those who came first, must leave first - Arya Dravidian theory.

6. To propagate the narrative that it was the British who gave them the nation and were responsible for all progress and good.

7. Divide and Rule – Create internal conflicts among Indians based on language, region, caste, and religion.
